GIDGET

Is a 3 year old Shih zue (approximately 8 lbs.).  Her owner was not able to take care of GIDGET’s broken leg.   Regardless of not being a Cocker Spaniel Gidget could not be turned away. Michelle Leoni, Founder of CSRF, immediately took Gidget to a veterinarian.  The leg was broken longer than first mention by the owner and had to be amputated.  The surgery was very successful and Gidget is one very happy little girl and ready  to be adopted.

Gidget is relaxed around her larger Cocker Spaniel roommates (cockers).  Her newly adopted family may have to debrief her that she is a Shih zue and no a Cocker Spaniel. Nothing holds her back from playtime and enjoying her walks.  She loves attention and can be very vocal about it.

Important Tidbits:

  • Knows how to use the dog door
  • Current on all shots
  • Spayed
  • No food aggression noted
  • No toy aggression noted
  • Gets along well with her four-legged roommates
